yeah i remember a few bikes at tmbra races walking off...and at the last tapatio race someone was going into peoples tents and stealing stuff along with stealing the schwag from the awards tent. i was about the time this guy was active Hmmmm.... a few years back at the double lake race during the awards peoples bikes were laying all around or against trees and nobody was really paying that close attention Mrs.KIA's bike was near the sun and ski tent up against a tree when i spied some young teens that looked outta place at the race at first i just thought they were looking at peoples bikes when holy sh*t! they grabbed Mrs.KIA's 26" Moots and started walking off at first i was kinda shocked but then soon realized these kids were trying to steal it. i ran over and grabbed it and said what are you doing this is my bike! they looked spooked and the kid with the bike just looked startled and said he thought it was his let go and ran off in the opposite direction. honestly i didn't know if this was some local that showed up thinking they could get away with stealing a bike that would fit them or what. since that time our bikes are either locked up or inside the honda or within sight at these events. just a while back the Titus demo had bikes walk off during a memorial park demo a bunch of kids rushed the booth and distracted/confused the Titus reps that a couple bikes just walked off before they knew what happened and every so often bike shops have bikes get stolen with fake ID's it think it happened to bike barn, bike sport and west end all in one day years ago.

Damn man, that completely sucks. I've had a bike stolen out of my garage once, but I lived in a shit part of town and it wasn't a nice bike... but it was my only bike at that time. To have a Tallboy stolen...ouch.
