Sorry Runk. I'm headed out to kerrville to visit my daughter. Don't think we ever really got to ride together but thanks for answering my trainer questions and hopefully I can come visit that beautiful place you now call home. Good luck my friend!! Ps. If I stop following you on social it's not because I have forgotten you it's because the pics KILL ME!! Maybe they will come up with some virtual goggles I can wear while riding around Houston but have your scenery Keep hammering away!!

@Wooooooooo let's see how the evening transpires but i'm inclined to greenlight it at this stage. You?

@Pick no worries buddy! Crazy that we never got to cross paths on the trail. I really hope you can make it out to Utah at some point. Best of luck at LV this year!

Okay guys, assume the ride is on unless i post on here again. Bumping it up to 8am to get ahead of any rain. Also, got word that most of the trail will be open tomorrow (beyond even the fruitloop that's been open the past few weeks). Cheers.

Yep! Up past the Nordic Center to Goat trail to Banff then the Legacy path back to Canmore is a great loop.

Great weather -- 40s to 60s. I had to set a C to F conversion chart next to the TV b/c I can't compute what in the world 2 degrees means.

Trails/paths all over the area. 100's of people on bikes. Snowed on the first day of summer. Speaking of snow, snowmobiles in driveways everywhere.

Canmore restaurants sucked except Craig's Way Station. Simple, yummy food and fast... unlike the Italian place on 8th/Main St. that took 1H10M from walking in the door until food was in front of me.

People in Canada are damn slow... driving, walking, talking... and that statement is coming from a Texan.

Like most of our trips, by the end of the week we are trying to figure out how to move there for good. :]

Getting off the plane last night here in Houston was painful. 95 degree heatindex at 10pm

Keep in mind you were around tourists and pot smoking mountain hippies for 95% of your trip
