2014 Specialized Epic Comp Carbon $3200. Size Medium. Currently set up as 1X10 with Sram X01 11 speed shifter and X01 clutched derailleur, with Sram X0 cranks and Sram 30T Narrow/Wide no drop chain ring. The wheel hub is not convertible to 11 speed. The bike shifts perfectly with the derailleur stops set for 10 speed. The bike is a FANTASTIC machine. I will swap the 30T chain ring for a larger size if you wish, OR convert to 2 x 10 if you prefer, using all unused taken off Shimano components. The picture is from Bike Rumor, but I along with Bike Barn have kept the bike meticulously maintained. I purchased it in August and have put 400 miles on it. The tires and wheels are virtually unused since I mounted others for my riding. Here is the full spec prior to the aforementioned changes: http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bikes/ ... -carbon-29 Available for hands-on viewing normally in the Houston area except when I'm away for cyclocross race weekends (like this weekend).

Yes, but that will set in motion the 10 day, 10 equal payment installment plan of that same sum.

What I could do if you want, is change everything but the first number to zeros, just for you.

You'll be so fast, you can't keep up with yourself. Especially with the way you pedal right now.

10 equal weekly payments by socks full of money is acceptable, but if they're dirty socks, add 10% cash to each sock full. And if you decide to go with dirty underwear, they better come with a hazmat suit.

No. I refuse to pay for Sworks frames. But yes, I'm interested in an upgrade. Read the dalai lama thread in the general section.

I like the Gallardo Orange but like you said it just doesn't go. I would go white! The murdered our look is cool until everyone is doing it and right now there are just too many all black bikes.

the orange dosent look bad in person they have one at sugar cycles and i think west end however the white is a easy decision.

basically the build is similar to the Era Expert we got for Mrs.KIA and subsequently stripped down and rebuilt to a 1x11 with XTR brakes (they work better for smaller hands) and upgraded to some carbon handlebars (FYI I have brand new still in package uncut Syntace vector carbon flat bars) and carbon seatpost you can get a nice S-works that would match the white bike perfect all over ebay.

the magura brakes are made especially for specialized and fall between the mt2 and mt4 i've got no beef with magura's but would most likely upgrade to a mt6 or mt8 in the future unless you have something else that works for you. The giant leap between the S-works world cup and the regular world cup can be easily closed with a few hundred dollars worth of easy carbon fiber cockpit and perhaps brake upgrades you got the blingy stuff with the brain fork and shock and carbon hoops.

the $3600 more for the s-works gets full carbon fiber rear triangle the carbon crown fork and lighter wheels and top shelf components i figure with some creativity and a whole lot less cash you can do similar to what we did to mrs.kia's bike. yeah it's a little bit heavier than her s-works epic but the extra $6000 for the s-works era was not worth it. This one turned out pretty trick IMOHO

    Mrs.KIA is somewhat spoiled :p

Man, that looks great! Mrs. KIA is indeed spoiled!

I'm going to go look at the orange ASAP. For some reason, I'm pretty interested in it, but conservative thinking might win out and have me picking the white one. The CF stuff could come later. I might ask you about that handle bar soon, though. It would be my most immediate conversion, however I still have my narrow bar. I'm going to try the bike out as is and see if I can stand (or maybe become a fan of) the wider bar and if I like it, I'll be asking if you still have yours. Don't wait on me if you have an opportunity to sell it, though. Thanks.

Oooh, I just looked at it and I think I don't care about matching. I really like it. I'm going to buy it! It goes with my Breck Epic socks.

Yeah honestly the Orange looks a lot better in person than on the specialized website or catalog

I think the orange one with a rebel flag sticker and the number 01 on it would look very....Southern.

kind of like that Viper in the TV ads. anyone else seen that? Viper painted like the Dukes of Hazard car....very tasteless but I guess that is the beauty of it.
