Having bought into the 29er hardtail bug, I am looking to sell my Santa Cruz Blur LT (08). I have a friend who is interested, however the bike has a new set of 26" Fulcrum Fulcrum Red Metal 1 XL UST Wheelset (Black, 6-BOLT DISC) aced with Hutchinson Pythons 2.1s tubeless. They have done only about 200 miles and are in new condition and he would be happier if i put on the old wheels in order to save him some cash. They retail for approx 1100 bucks (does not include tires), so let me know if there is anyone who might be interested? I would let them go for 400 bucks with some room for negotiation. The Blur itself is in great condition (hardly a mark on the frame), but needs a fork service and either new VPP bearings or some loctite on the bearing shells (it creaks when pedaling). It also has a brand new drive train (BB, crank arm Stylo 3.3 team, SRAM PG-990 Cassette chain and SRAM SRAM PC-991 cassette).
Re: 26" Fulcrum Fulcrum Red Metal 1 XL UST Wheelset when does the antique roadshow come to town??? that may be your best bet to unload a 26incher... hahahaha
Classic. Its a shame my Surly Single Speed has no disk break mounts or I would have moved them over to that. Could buy a new updated fork (shock or rigid) but that means I just spend more cash! Surly also has Paul hubs so a shame to loose them too.
