    2010 Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 29er - Large

This is is a beautiful, well-maintained example of Specialized’s factory cross-country race bike. The geometry is quick and aggressive. I am the second owner of this beautiful example. Key features include the Specialized/RockShock Reba S29 is the lightest, stiffest performance XC fork available in 2010, featuring tapered carbon crown/steerer and Reba Team lower with titanium motion control damper, FloodGate adjust and lockout. The stock Roval 29" Control EL XC wheelset is upgraded to a Roval Control Carbon set with Specialized’s lifetime warranty. Both the F/R are in great condition - the rear is a recent (2 months) factory warranty replacement. The Specialized FACT OSBB carbon crankset with ceramic bearings and 26/39-tooth SRAM XX spider and rings boasts market-leading stiffness-to-weight for the ultimate power transfer. The light and lean S-Works Stumpjumper HT 29er FACT 10m carbon frame is engineered with a stiff, tapered head tube and 29" race geometry for pure speed. This is a turnkey race bike and is ready-to-race as is.

    Pic's are here: https://plus.google.com/photos/11111548 ... zZXb9MmPEg

The bike is clean and well-maintained with many new and upgraded components. Current specs include:

STEM - Upgraded Syntace F109, 6 degree rise, 25.4mm clamp

    SEATPOST - S-Works Carbon, 30.9mm, single-bolt head, 400mm
SEAT BINDER - 36.9mm clamp, one bolt for carbon frame/post

This bike is in great, used condition. It’s a race/XC bike and has some minor small chips and scratches - but nothing serious or structural. The condition belies the age - the previous owner was a racer and shop owner, so the maintenance was impeccable. I have continued that trend and replace and/or upgraded any and all worn parts. The bike rides as good as it looks. It’s extremely fast, fun, nimble and light. The bike weighs 19.7 pounds as shown, it accelerates like a rocket and climbs a goat. The brakes/pads, derailleur cables, seat are all essentially new with fewer than 100 miles on them. I love the bike, but find that I love my S-Works Epic more - so this bike does not get enough mileage to justify keeping it. I have helicopter tape on the downtube and crankarms.

Everything works and it needs nothing - this is truly a turnkey race bike. You will not find a better example of this model. View the pictures, check my feedback on eBay (art2match). You will not be disappointed. Price is $3,850 as is, slightly negotiable for local sale.

look at eBay your price is totally out of the ballpark a 2013 S Works Stumpjumper recently went for what YOU are asking you can buy a 2013 Stumpjumper expert for under $3K http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-Specialize ... 43c8c514ee

the 2010 geometry is totally off from much better handling 2011-2013 and 2014's as nice as YOU think the bike is the market just isn't there you'll have much better luck parting it out than trying to get what your asking on eBay i'm on eBay too and have sold a ton of bike stuff and bikes so i'm not just talking out of my ass... look me up ( wrm4865 )

Well...one can assume that you are living in an alternative reality if you think a 4 year old bike is going to fetch $3800 for when the bike was new went for $6100 in 2009 just sayin...

Well, I appreciate your opinion - everybody's got one. Typically forum etiquette is to let folks just not buy items they're not interested in, or feel are inappropriately priced rather than degrade the item and the knowledge of the seller (but then, you knew that). I did my homework and feel that this is an appropriate price for this bike with these upgrades in this condition. eBay lists S-Works Stumpies from $2,850 to $5,200. Mine is right in the middle - I'm not going to argue my pricing strategy, geometry of the bike, value of 2010 vs. later models, or my general knowledge of bicycles with you since you clearly know it all.

    Happy cycling ;)

I see your homework hasn't played out as no one is biting at $3850 on a five year old bike...perhaps you should of heeded my advice on eBay and selling... you are not gonna get $2K for that bike strip it and sell off the parts...or not and continue to sit on it.

dumbasses are all over eBay it's fun to see them finally give up after listing the exact same item over and over and over again for the exact same price thinking it will be different this time and they will get what they think it should be worth.

prime example this 2013 s-works venge has been on ebay for eons

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/181422988876?ss ... 1423.l2649

$9000K for a USED bike that went new for $8200?! oh i for got the Ti skewer upgrade and swapping out the Roval clx60 wheels for zipp 404 and a zipp stem made it worth so much more  maybe i'm just stupid but why would i want a 2013 for $500 MORE than i can get a NEW 2014 for?

I'm watching this guy on here to finally see him either lower his asking price by a LOT as in more than half or just give up. His best bet would start off with a no-reserve and .99 cent starting price and see realistically what it's worth take whatever it went for and be happy rather than having a bike he doesn't want/need/ride depreciating even more and collecting more dust in his garage.
