100 ton challenge is pretty simple, lift 100 tons (200,000 lbs.) over the course of 1 day. You can choose Friday 12/1, Saturday 12/2 or Sunday 12/3 12:00am to 11:59pm to do your work. Do it in one rep Superman or 40,000 5 lbs. bicep curls. It's your choice of how to do it, but think carefully because some exercises like squats don't count your body weight towards the lift. Also, it's on the honor system so don't be an a-hole and lie to us or yourself.

This is my personal 10 year challenge to do something hard, new, and odd but achievable. You can participate if you like, cyclists should have an advantage since you can rack up big numbers quickly on the leg exercises.

They do this at Randolph AFB every year in March, I think. There was and article in WSJ about it a while back. This should be cooler than eating that 72 oz. steak in Amarillo.

    Don't hurt yourselves. Maybe I'll make up a t-shirt.

Hummm...interesting. I've never heard of a challenge like this.

    139 lb/minute for 24 hours
    167 lb/minute for 20 hours
    208 lb/minute for 16 hours

I'm not even sure how to process that.

maybe 4 hours on and 2 off. Is that even doable?

    Where the hell is stokke?

So, at the gym doing my current routine, I lift 14,450 lbs in about 20 minutes before doing 45 crunches on the exercise ball. When I was adding leg presses to the routine, it went to a total of 26,250 lbs and added about 10 minutes. I stopped with the leg presses when I got into some regular cycling training about 10 weeks ago. This is Monday, Wednesday and sometimes Friday. Or sometimes just 2 days a week.

Anyway, I've already thought and then quickly dropped the idea of doing 200,000 lbs in a day because I would have to do what I'm doing now (sans legs) 14 times. In a day. eFFFF that! Yes, I'd use different exercises bla bla bla, but NOPE!

I'd have to step up my game from 12 oz to 40's!

no curls anytime soon for me... my Check Liver Light is on after this past weekend.

guys trip up to Toledo Bend. had my little canoe and trolling motor going. On my last trip out, I just anchored offshore and took a nap. There’s a video of me somewhere on FB from a buddy of mine saying “it’s a damn shame Michelle – your husband is passed out on that boat with his radio so loud he can’t hear us to come in for dinner”

At one point I'd gone a weeee bit too far out, especially given the fact that the waves were starting to kick up. I was far enough that I couldn’t see our house over the whitecaps from the storms that hit Saturday.

I finally decided to turn and go back when I realized I’d probably flip over if I tried turned the boat around. I got a little spooked until I remembered that little motor has reverse. I just reversed straight back into the waves until closer to shore when I could safely turn it around in the smaller stuff.

So, just F'ing around tonight after work not moving any serious weight I chalked up 66850lbs in 1 hour. I could probably do it now but don't want to be destroyed for a week.
exercises used: benchpress, leg press, upright row, dumbbell pull over, dead lift, hammer curl, calf raise

2,45 tons of mulch. I unloaded 2 tons by hand in about 2 hours. 100 would be hard.

Do you suffer from premature masochism? Do you do hard things just because you can? Send me $19.95+ shipping and I'll send you my guaranteed 12 step process to becoming a lazy couch spud safe from Alpha Male situations like "too much female attention," "shredded pecs," and "subordinate males pissing their pantz from your slightest glance."

FYI 100 ton challenge happened tonight. Ended up being 110.8 tons.

    RRROOAWWWWER! watch me flex, bro!
