if you live in the south Katy area, Handlebar Cyclery now has a Tuesday Night Worlds ride every Tuesday night, rolling from the shop around 6:15. We weave our way up to brookshire and back. Bring your lights and your suitcase of courage. Some pretty fast racer bois show up so its a good time
More info at most of the social things including Strava and Facebook.

No need for a link...I personally told you about this. YOur memory sucks, what are you old or something??!

I did this 3 weeks ago, great ride and well worth it. Had I not been sick this week I would have been there Tuesday. I plan to be there next week.
Good group of guys and a very fast ride. Plan on 31 miles and try to hang on. I pooped and ended up with a friend we could see leaders but teh stiff 28mph south wind made teh trip down 359 BRUUUTAL!

Nice! Usually I am allowed to hang on until Carlos decides to drop the hammer and then I'm done.

Agreed Blue! Except for the part about having a great shop that gives you a beer while you hang out has not been good for my wallet or my waste line

Dropped on HUnt road again! Was sitting at the back around 32, started going backards. Group of 3 came around, I made a pooooosy decision to NOT catch that wheel. Spent a lot time alone last night. Started reeling in that 2nd group but could see them rotate through 5 riders. I caught one, he and I worked well together, putting in time, "hills" on 359 and I dropped my buddy, turn on Pecan was the closest I got, they turned quicker.

    THat ride hurts. 33 miles

"Let me clear my throat...and let all the fly skimmies feel the beat....mmmmmmmmmm dddrrrrrooooop!!!"

Hot damn, HUnt road will take your legs and throw them into the ditch. I hung on better this time, in fact, made the turn and then we splintered on 1489. Worked hard to 11th st in brookshire. Could see the main group, regrouping before 359 and the south wind that was coming. I got to them and then we turned right onto 359. I heard "Blue, you here?" I yelled "yeah...ummm NOOOO!" and then I was alone. limping. crying. Stragglers caught me and we worked in the wind to get home.
